About SEBIR
SEBIR is a local operations partner for Jewish travel, groups and events in Poland. We organize and coordinate the work on the ground: kosher food, Shabbat, venues, logistics and support on site. SEBIR is a brand of the Estonian company PROGRESS-CONSULTING EESTI OÜ, which concludes contracts and provides the services.
Our experience
Experience from tourism, camps and MICE
Over the years we have sold and organized trips, run children's camps from start to finish and delivered conferences in many countries. Since summer 2023 we have been serving Jewish groups: youth camps, conferences, retreats and kosher kitchens for groups coming from Israel, Ukraine, Germany, Austria and beyond.

Where and how we work
- Throughout Poland - Krakow, Warsaw, Lublin, Lodz and other cities. On request also elsewhere in Europe, from Portugal to the Caucasus, including Kaliningrad. We do not work in Ukraine.
- In Polish, English and Russian; a Hebrew or Ukrainian speaker on site on request.
- First reply usually within 24 hours; one point of contact from the first message to departure.
Clear roles
What we do - and what we leave to others
Kashrut is supervised by rabbis in Poland; the standard for each group is set by its rabbi, and we make it happen - we do not issue certificates or make religious rulings. How we work with kashrut →
We work on the ground during the stay. We do not run a hotel, and we do not sell flights, tickets or insurance - we are happy to recommend reliable partners. Groups travel with their own organizer; private guests book their accommodation directly.
Our team
Who works with you on the ground
Irina
Logistics Manager and Kosher Menu Planner
Leads events, logistics and settlements. Plans the kosher menu, is responsible for food safety and decorates the halls for Shabbat and galas.
Sebastian
Operations, Procurement and Technical Manager
Leads events and signs agreements with the group's organizer. Handles procurement and the venue's technical setup. Coordinates the eruv - arrangements and setup always under rabbinic supervision.
Kitchen
- Ilia - head chef or assistant cook
- Viktor - serves in the hall and supports Ilia in the kitchen
Waiting staff
- Nikolai - head waiter: leads the waiting team and serves guests himself
- Sandra - waitress; decorates the halls together with Irina
Technology
- Sebastian - equipment, sound, lighting, projectors, internet and printers; when something is missing or breaks, he fixes it or decides how to fix it
- Pavlo - event technician and DJ: sound, lighting, music and hall setup
Reception and housekeeping
When the group needs it, our team supports Irina at the hotel reception - on arrival and with guests' day-to-day matters. Our housekeeping coordinator keeps the halls, dining room and back-of-house clean throughout the stay, working with the venue's cleaning team.
Mashgichim: Yehuda, Akiva, Avraham, Shimon, Yaakov
They supervise kashrut in the kitchen and at serving, to the standard set by the group's rabbi. We match the mashgiach to the group's standard and language.

Travel agency or on-site partner?
Is SEBIR a travel agency?
No. SEBIR is a local operations partner in Poland: we provide kosher food, Shabbat and on-site coordination. A group's trip is run by its organizer - a foundation, school, community or travel agency - and our contract is with that organizer. Private guests book their accommodation and transport themselves, directly with the hotel and the carrier.
Does SEBIR book hotels and transport?
For groups, we help choose the venue and reliable carriers and coordinate their work on site, under our contract with the group's organizer. We do not run a hotel and we do not take payment for accommodation. For private guests we recommend trusted places; they book and pay themselves.
